Eat this: Mad Mex Rouse Hill

Chances are, if you’re reading this blog, Rouse Hills’ Mad Mex requires no introduction. Since it opened in Town Square of Rouse Hill’s favourite shopping precinct, it has become something of an institution for locals, bar none, one of the best places in our city to run into friends, long lost colleagues, or that dude you know from Instagram.


Founder and Head Honcho, Clovis Young, grew up in San Diego but spent every childhood family holiday. His imaginative, light, health-conscious and authentic menu is amongst the best Mexican meals in town. 

Mad Mex combines the convenience and comfort of a chain joint with the ambiance and small charm of our favourite food spot in Baja.


The burritos are a hearty half kilo piled with fresh goodness that can be held in one hand – we’re in love.  It’s basically clean eating - Mexican style.

On those hot HOT days, the Naked Burrito or Ensalada Fresca are perfect!
The have low GI Mexican dishes, gluten free tacos, nachos and burritos!  And we have to say, the quesadillas is the ultimate Mexican cheese toastie.
