​Rouse Hill Town Centre was a platinum sponsor for the 6th Billy Cart Derby this year, and has been the key location of the event for the last 6 years. For $5, participants could register their place in the race. They could either make their own cart or borrow a supplied cart on the day. Billy Cart Derby was also part of the school holiday period this year and was held on Saturday 22 April.
